A decade ago, Hawk’s Bay Insurance was just an idea sparked by a simple yet powerful conversation with my father.
I vividly remember sitting with him, filled with both hope and uncertainty, and asking,
“Dad, do you think I should start my own business?”
Without a second thought, he replied,
“Yes, absolutely. Your management skills and consistency will lead you to success.”
Those words became the foundation of everything we’ve built.
Starting with nothing but a small room, two laptops, and a big dream, Hawk’s Bay was born. I am forever grateful to my dad — not only for his encouragement but for believing in me even when I doubted myself.
From those humble beginnings with just three of us working tirelessly, to now a thriving team of over 40 passionate individuals, our journey has been one of grit, growth, and relentless dedication. Together, we share a purpose and an unwavering dream: to be the best in our field.
The road hasn’t always been smooth. We’ve faced late nights, hard lessons, moments of uncertainty, and plenty of self-doubt. Yet through it all, our commitment to consistency, to our clients, and to building something meaningful has never faltered.
As we celebrate this milestone, my heart is full of gratitude — to our incredible team, our loyal clients, and everyone who has supported us along the way.
